I am currently researching and writing the life story of this great man and what an amazing story it is! From the depths of rural Suffolk a young motocross rider emerged in the late 1950s who would soon become a European champion at the age of 22. Dave Bickers was an exceptional motorcyclist, but his life was far from over when he finally hung up his boots. Within a few years he had established himself as the go to man for TV and film stunts involving motor vehicles. His business Bickers Action was, and still is, a huge success, largely down to Dave's engineering ingenuity which revolutionised the stunt business.
